Proof of Work secured faucet for EVM chains

Building products on Stellar since 2014, the Ultra Stellar team is well known in the Stellar community. From the early days, we are watching the network develop, mature, and evolve. We actively participate in the ecosystem growth, working on a wide range of projects including StellarX, StellarTerm, LOBSTR wallet and Vault. The most powerful features of the Stellar network are instant and cheap borderless payments, as well as a fast and low fee on-chain currency exchange with Stellar DEX. Running some of the popular trading interfaces, we strongly feel that SDEX is one of the key advantages of Stellar. This network element has huge potential but it is currently underrated and underutilized. While the Stellar DEX shines when exchanging relatively small amounts of funds, you just don’t get an acceptable exchange rate with larger amounts. The reason is that the majority of SDEX market pairs lack sufficient market liquidity. At the same time, some DEXes on other networks are striving and have a lot of liquidity, all while being generally slower and with a whopping $20–$50 price tag for a single swap. Liquidity issue is widely recognized in the community. As stated in the SDF roadmap for the year: Improving liquidity is an essential part of the 2021 growth plan. The ability to efficiently convert assets is what enables varied use cases and actors to interact with one another on Stellar. And steps are taken to resolve this problem. Perhaps the most important one is the proposal to introduce Automated Market Makers in the upcoming Stellar Core v18 upgrade. If accepted, this will likely significantly reduce liquidity issues and attract a new wave of traders to explore Stellar DEX. Today Ultra Stellar is joining the battle for liquidity! We are happy to announce the project that is aimed to address and ultimately resolve the Stellar DEX liquidity problem by introducing multiple incentives for trading and market making on SDEX.
